The LP560-4 Polizia goes into service immediately with the Lazio Highway Police Department. The car replaces (gasp!) the department's previous Lamborghini, a 2004 Gallardo which has already racked up 87,000 miles.

Lest you think that this is just an expensive toy for the cops, they'll have you know that theirs is a fully functional squad car, with radio, holster, cardiac defibrillator and other safety equipment.

An in-car camera is linked with a GPS receiver that can transmit images and information on the Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia's location to the nearest police station. If that wasn't enough, it can also accurately calculate the speed of a pursued vehicle.

The police supercar can also help save lives. The car's front luggage compartment has been fitted with a refrigeration unit. This means it can bring donor organs (or detached limbs) to hospitals in a big hurry.
