V10 Audi R8

The V10 powered R8 will be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show in January. It will be powered by the same 5.2 liter V10 found in the Lamborghini Gallardo that produces 528hp.

The V10 R8 is equipped with magnetic ride dampers. Passengers will be further pampered by the B&O system that comes standard.

The car will also have a new rear diffuser that exerts more downforce. Instead of the quad exhausts found in the 8-cylinder R8, the V10 powered one will be differentiated with twin oval tailpipes.

Performance will be scintillating, with a claimed 0-100km/h time of 3.9 seconds. The V10 R8 also tops out at a reported 315km/h.

Those lucky buyers will be able to choose between a 6-speed manual or R tronic semi-auto gearbox.
