Set for production next year, Volvo's XC60 SUV moves yet further away from the typical plain styling associated with the brand. The exterior styling is Ford Europe's take on the "kinetic" design language. Those sleek lines are a radical departure from the conservative styling that Volvo is known for.

While the vehicle will be available with the stupendous T6 and all-wheel drive package, Volvo also has a greener option for this car.

One of the XC60 variants will come equipped with a Euro-5 compliant 2.4 litre diesel engine. The powerplant will be good for 175hp and 420nm. Fuel consumption is further reduced as this variant will only be driven by its front wheels.
