Lexus IS 250 Premium Review: Less is more

To keep up with the rest of the competition in the blooming compact executive sedan market, Lexus updated its IS250. Not much changes, but it spruces the aesthetic as a whole. The question still remains though - what does it have, but the 3 Series, A4 and C-Class doesn't?

There are still plenty of reasons to love the IS250 even though the facelift is just a minor one – those handsome looks, impeccable build quality, that silky smooth engine and unprecedented refinement.

It’s still far from being the perfect compact executive though, as the IS250’s two biggest bugbears are the cramped interior and its inability to reward the enthusiastic driver. There might be other all-rounded compact executive than the Lexus out there, but what it offers is the best value-for-money. Together with its other strengths, the Lexus IS250 will surely continue to give the German models a tough fight…
