The new second-generation Ghost is here and it’s no surprise that it uses Rolls-Royce’s Architecture of Luxury - a bespoke chassis not shared with any other brands. This is the biggest differentiator for the car over its predecessor. 

The extensive re-working of the Lexus IS comes to us as no surprise, since the Japanese luxury car marque’s mantra of ‘The Relentless Pursuit Of Perfection’ seems like something that they do not take quite lightly. Their re-skinned RX SUV we tested a little over a year ago, was proof that getting a car right should always involve some serious re-thinking… and this has to be so much more than a simple nose and tail job.

The Audi A4 range has recently gone through an extensive makeover. And while the A4 Sedan, and even their Avant has been visually softened up, their fire-breathing RS4 on the other hand hasn’t really been tweaked much externally.  Changes might be minor, but we like what Audi has done!

The Mercedes-Benz GLB rivals the people-carrying ability of your compact-sized MPV, and comes with a little bit of adventure in its heart. But would you heart this car enough to buy it?

So here it is! The updated BMW mid-tier luxury sedan, the 5 Series. BMW claims that it's greener, and therefore better... and well… we actually love it. 

So when Suzuki announced that they were going to launch another Swift model, we got our hopes up for their Swift Sport pocket rocket, but instead, they came back with another iteration of their bread and butter hatch… So is their reworked bread-and-butter hatch, any better than their previous bread-and-butter hatch?

While ‘droptops’ are rather niche over here, I do believe that our sunny island is quite a lovely place for one… that is if you like the sun, and the great outdoors. Then the Audi A5 could be just the right car for you.

It was not even a year ago that SEAT in Singapore introduced the CUPRA Ateca to us. We were quite blown away by sheer performance, built into a day-to-day bread-and-butter Ateca (that itself has also gone through a recent mild product update). Engineers this time have milked even more shove out of the CUPRA Ateca... so it's even quicker... therefore better!

The Mercedes-Benz E Class has grown considerably over the years, adding with it along the way, modern features, and at-times industry-first innovations. The E-Class has long been a must-have for the seriously successful towkay who has arrived; attracting them with its bonnet bling, road presence and when time to move on, very good residuals.  The E-Class has gone through a mid-life refresh, and now also carries on it some serious innovative tech.

Audi’s very first EV, shows plenty of promise, and also forms the roadmap for them for things to come, as more of their range eventually goes electric.

The ZS EV is currently the most affordable entry into an EV in Singapore. Its driving experience however, is far from being entry level. 

MINI fires its first electric salvo, and it is the 3 Door hatchback, the car the brand is built around... and I am writing this with a bit of sadness. As there is a greater push to go electric, MINI as we know it will eventually shift to an all-electric range. And while the band has had a good run with petrol (and some diesels), change is a constant that we all have to accept, like it or not. We have to accept that will lose some of the mechanical character that the brand has painstakingly built over the decades.

MG's HS has fine looks, a great interior and a modern drivetrain - this is China's best automotive effort in Singapore by far. 

BYD is now trying to build itself a niche in the form of the M3e, which is Singapore’s first fully electric 7-seater MPV. Whether being first is a boon or bane is something we will find out.

The Volkswagen Golf has long been termed the “King of Hatchbacks”. A car that many upgraders desire, and one which is not only practical and easy to live with, but boasts handling as sharp, rivaling quite a few performance cars out there. The Mk.7 Golf may be near the end of its product lifespan, but before we bid adieu to this lovely car, Volkswagen has added a little special something to sweeten what is already one sweet hatchback.

BMW has now included their base 3 Series in their lineup here, and those who still are keen to “Bring Joy” to their motoring experience, would probably be looking forward to this sedan.

The all-new Hyundai Avante has heaps to offer if you are looking for a well-built family sedan

Well… we have been waiting in anticipation for this one from the peeps at Volkswagen! Their T-Cross compact SUV is finally here! 

If you are fine with blowing a little more than 200 grand on a car, you’d be quite spoilt for choice. You could swing in the direction of the sensible guy, and head off to purchase a BMW 3 Series (320i), or a Mercedes-Benz C-Class (C200), or even shoot for an Audi A4 with some change to spare. Alternatively, you could opt for a class downgrade… but a performance upgrade.
