4 Singapore Roads For Maximum Driving Pleasure
Singapore’s only got some 3000 kilometres of roads for your expensive rides to cruise on, but the high density of vehicles here means there’s not much driving bliss to be found. Except for these roads, maybe. Or maybe not.

There are many more roads in the recommended list, such as Old Thomson Road (Devil’s Bend), Sungei Kadut, Neo Tiew Road, Mandai Road, and Lim Chu Kang Road. Sadly my road trip had to come to an end before I got round to them, as family obligations beckoned., but perhaps I’ll be back next week with my update on how the rest fare.
For now, my favourite from today’s road tests has to be the Rifle Range. If you were to ask me to come up with a succinct metaphor to summarise how this road drives, I would say it feels a bit like being fired from a Rifle, down a long Range.
Yes, that’s corny, but then so is this “road test” nonsense. Because, as far as driving pleasure is concerned, let’s face it, there’s more than one kind - Rifle Range Road is Makeout Point –the go-to late night spot for those with other types of driving in mind.
I hope I’ve given you inspiration on where to go next when you feel an urge to eat some air. Enjoy pleasuring yourselves on these roads – and yes, the double entendre is very much intended.
You are welcome.
