The popularity of the Aveo5 is set to replay with this new version. Car buyers on a budget - rejoice!
Like its predecessor, the new Aveo5 offers strong passenger protection with over 40% of the passenger cell made of high-strength steel. For enhanced side-protection, the B-pillar is made of three steel plates of different thickness – these plates are welded together so that in an event of a side impact, the B-pillar moves like a pendulum rather than being folded and protruding into the passenger compartment.

The new Aveo5 offers a 1.4-litre engine capable of 94bhp @ 6,200rpm and a maximum torque of 130Nm @ 3,400rpm, and is available in both manual and automatic transmission. Price is pegged at $49,188 for the manual, and $52,188 for the automatic.
