Driving performance

Under the hood of the Toyota Wish lies the 1ZZ-FE 1.8-litre in-line 4-cylinder engine. Together with VVT-i and the latest catalyst technology, it enhances engine performance and output as well as reducing fuel consumption and emissions. The 4-speed automatic transaxle is a new-generation electronically controlled automatic which Toyota dubs "Super Electronic Controlled Transmission".

When accelerating, the distribution of power transaxle between the lock-up clutch and the torque converter is controlled depending on driving conditions to dramatically increase power transaxle efficiency. When decelerating, the lock-up clutch can be operated until low vehicle speeds, increasing the fuel cut range and enhancing fuel efficiency.

Safety wise, ABS, EBD, brake assist and twin airbags comes standard.

Pricing

The Toyota Wish is now available at Borneo Motors with a price tag of $74,388.

It comes with 5-piece bodykit, reverse camera, side-mirror indicators, 4-piece illuminated scuff plates, window visors and muffler cutters.

There are four different colours to choose from - Gray Metallic, Dark Gray Mica Metallic, Silver Metallic and Dark Blue Mica.
