We speak with Serena Darcel, Head of Legal at Carousell Autos, to find out more about her, her work and her hobbies.

What’s your name and how old are you?

Serena, 32.

What do you do at Carousell?

I support the business teams in the mission to inspire the world to start selling, and to make secondhand the first choice! My official role is Head of Legal.

What car do you drive, and why?

Land Rover Defender 90. I just love the feeling of driving a classic!

How did Carousell help your car buying/selling?

The Defender has been my dream ride since I was a kid and Carousell made this dream a reality! The previous owner took down his first listing before I could chat with him and luckily for me, I had Carousell’s “Saved Search” feature switched on. Through “Saved Search” - which allows me to get notifications of all new Defender listings, I received a prompt when the seller re-listed this listing. The rest is history.

Your favourite past time?

Exercising - it does help that my Landie allows me to store all my gear!
