AVATR Makes Its Paris Debut and Eyes Europe’s Luxury EV Crowd
Backed by Changan and CATL, the premium EV brand is taking on Europe with the 06T and 07L leading the charge.
AVATR has officially entered the European market, announcing the move in Paris on 11 October.
Norway and Spain will be the first launch markets in 2027, with the AVATR 06T and 07L making their European debut.
Six models are planned over the next three years, spanning mid-size SUVs, large SUVs and shooting-brake styles.
The brand combines Changan Automobile’s manufacturing, CATL’s battery tech and the R&D strength of a major ICT firm. Its design team spans Munich and Shanghai, drawing on staff from over 30 countries.
AVATR already operates in 70 countries and regions, with more than 280,000 owners. By 2030, it aims for 110 markets and overseas sales above 50 per cent of the total.
In Norway, it has partnered with importer RSA, planning two flagship stores in Oslo plus experience centres elsewhere.
