A Bigger Slice Of Manthey For Porsche, Plus A New “Home Of Sports Cars”
The stake goes to 67% as part of the “Sportwagenschmiede ‘35” strategy.

Porsche has raised its stake in Manthey Racing GmbH to 67 per cent.

The move is part of the “Sportwagenschmiede ‘35” strategy and the new “Home of Sports Cars” umbrella, which bundles Performance (including Manthey), Exclusiveness (Sonderwunsch and Exclusive Manufaktur) and Heritage.

Expect a number of special models, performance kits and exclusive track experiences. CEO Michael Leiters called Manthey a trusted partner with a loyal customer base: “We intend to build on this.”

Manthey brings 30 years of GT experience, seven overall Nürburgring 24 Hours wins, six Le Mans class wins and several FIA WEC and DTM titles. Since 2020, it has co-developed nine kits with Porsche, from the 911 to the Taycan Turbo GT.
Managing Director Nicolas Raeder called the stake a “personal mark of appreciation”. His brother Martin said it strengthens the bridge between motorsport and road cars.
Manthey previewed two 30th-anniversary specials at the Hockenheim DTM finale, where it chased a third title in four years. Thomas Preining led the drivers’ standings by 23 points and Manthey the teams’ by 20.
