BYD ATTO 3 EV SUV Will Launch In Singapore Next Month
The All-New BYD ATTO 3 will be unveiled in Singapore in July, according to E-Auto, the authorised distributor for BYD passenger vehicles here.
E-Auto, a division of Vantage Automotive and a member of the Sime Darby Motors, will retail the top spec model with a battery range of up to 480km (under NEDC conditions), which comes equipped with BYD’s revolutionary blade battery.
With 150kW max power, The ATTO 3’s 150kW powerplant churns out a maximum of 310Nm of torque, and is capable of a 0-100km/h sprint in 7.3 seconds. It will also feature Vehicle-to-Load capabilities, enabling the car to function as a mobile “power bank” with the help of a power supply unit.
The electric SUV is a 4G-connected vehicle powered by BYD’s “DiLink Intelligent Connection System” through the company’s patented 12.8-inch rotatable touch screen. Smart Voice Assistant, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto will be available in the ATTO 3 in the coming months, via Over the Air (OTA) updates.
Available in 5 colours - Surf Blue, Ski White, Forest Green, Parkour Red, and Boulder Grey - the ATTO 3 signals a new era of BYD electric cars in Singapore, as the first SUV built on BYD’s e- platform 3.0.
The 4.5m long and 1.9m wide e-platform 3.0 of the SUV is an EV-only platform that is specially designed for high-performance electric vehicles while prioritising safety, efficiency, space utilisation, and design.
