Chevrolet Camero unmasked

The Chevrolet Camero a.k.a "Bumber-bee" is unveiled to the public even though it still is undergoing testing phase.

Development on the new Chevrolet Camero has taken an interesting twist. It seems that General Motors Bob Lutz has ordered the removal of camouflage paint on the Cameros undergoing testing so that further testing could be done for aerodynamics and cooling eficiency. (Hence the full glory of the un-camouflage Camero you see here in this picture)

We think that it is more of a marketing gimmick to gain public attention and generate interest before it goes on sale later this year.

Available in V6 and V8 engines with a choice of hard-top coupe and soft-top convertible models, the new Camaro is designed to be the modern American muscle car.

It will be built from late this year and go on sale from early 2009 in the United States.
