COE Premiums Decrease In All Categories In First Bidding Exercise Of December 2022

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$88,503, a decrease of S$2,086.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$105,501, a decrease of S$8,380 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$$301 to S$81,501.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went down by S$489, to S$12,100.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$3,485, to S$110,524.
