Daimler to add 1,000 jobs next year
While other automakers such as Ford will be needing to downsize, Daimler is doing the opposite.

Half of the new positions will be based in their headquarters in Stuttgart, while the rest are to be spread out globally.
Daimler is going ahead with this move, as these new positions will be responsible for training their next generation of workers. These workers will be entering the industry at a time when expertise in complex developing technologies are essential for survival.
The German giant will be hoping to weather the rough time by focusing on efficiencies and flexibility wherever possible.
