Higher COE prices across all five categories in second bidding exercise of 2022
Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed higher across all five categories in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (19 January).
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$57,898, an increase of S$299.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) also ended higher at S$82,001, an increase of S$4,301 from the previous tender.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$801 to S$43,001.
In the motorcycle category, premiums also went up to S$10,000 from S$9,689.
And in the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums also climbed by S$1,410, up to S$83,911.
