Honda's two facilities will be suspended until further notice. “We suspended operation of one plant manufacturing cars and another for motorcycles in Thailand today,” a Honda spokeswoman said, adding that the suspension is currently scheduled for Thursday.

The decision to operate the Honda plants, one in Ayutaya producing cars and another in the suburb of Bangkok that produces motorcyles, will be decided on a day to day basis depending on the political situation in Thailand.

The plant at Ayutaya produces mainly the Accord and Civic for the Thailand market. The Honda City available in Singapore is also from the plant.
