IT: Ferrari to manufacture only 458 Speciale Spiders

Ferrari recently showcased a 458 Speciale Spider to a select group of customers at Pebble Beach, and rumour has it that Ferrari will only build 458 examples of the Speciale Spider. As its name suggests, the Speciale Spider is based on the 458 Speciale but with its roof lobed off, similar to what Ferrari did to create the 430 Scuderia Spider 16M. There has been no official confirmation from Maranello as of yet, but we will post updates if and when they are announced. The car is expected to make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.
