IT: Ferrari to unveil 458 Speciale Spider at Paris Motor Show

Ferrari revealed the 458 Speciale Spider to a select group of customers back at Pebble Beach, and rumour had it then that the car will be revealed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. We now have official confirmation that Ferrari will indeed pull the wraps off the car at next month’s Paris Motor Show. Only 458 units were originally planned, although do expect more to be produced under Ferrari's new CEO Sergio Marchionne, for he aims to increase the production of Ferraris gradually over the next few years. The 458 Speciale Spider will be powered by the same 4.5-liter V8 engine as in the coupe. The powerplant will make 605 hp and 540 N of torque, and it should have similar performance to the coupe version.
