Kah Motor announces the new 2009 Odyssey

The new 2009 Odyssey features a unique low-floor and low center-of-gravity package that enables a low-profile roofline and performance beyond ordinary MPVs together with a spacious cabin. The new Odyssey is also equipped with advanced safety technologies, including Vehicle Stability Assist and Motion Adaptive Electric Power Steering. Kah Motor will offer three grades - Odyssey 2.4 EX, Odyssey 2.4 EX-V, and Odyssey EX-V Premium. The Odyssey 2.4 EX-V offers a sporty driving experience with a full aero body kit, 17" alloy wheels, sunroof, 8-way electric driver's seat and luxurious factory-fitted leather upholstery as standard. The Odyssey EX-V Premium adds front side airbags and side curtain airbags. Both grades feature Honda's renowned 3rd electrically folding magic seats and cruise control.

Designed around the concept of emotional quality that will move all who experience it, the new 4th generation Odyssey provides an advanced fusion of the human/machine interface, a liberated feeling for all occupants, and a distinctive presence. The all-new Odyssey was developed with the goal of generating strong feelings in every circumstance: riding in it, driving it, and looking at it.

To fulfill customer expectations for excellent fuel economy related to the growing awareness of environmental issues, the all-new Odyssey is equipped with a 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC engine and torque converter-equipped 5-speed automatic, a combination that enable the vehicle to achieve both superior performance and class-leading fuel economy performance. Moreover, the all-new Odyssey engine features DBW (drive-by-wire) control which contributes to improved fuel economy by applying collaborative control of the 5-speed automatic to reduce engine load.

The improvements made to the new Odyssey can be summarized in three main areas of innovative engineering - advanced human/machine interface, a sense of liberated space for all occupants and its distinctive presence.
