The Lexus will be based on the third-generation of the Prius hatchback that is set to debut in January at the Detroit Auto Show.
As a luxury brand, the car is expected to be a bit less fuel efficient, more sporty, and most importantly, very opulent.
It may be a hybrid car, but since it will be badged as a Lexus Prius, it will be priced accordingly (read: expensive).
