Local News: Bid For the New Ford Focus

To mark the launch of the all-new Ford Focus in February, Ford will be
holding an unprecedented online auction of their latest iteration of the well-loved Focus series, with a remarkable starting bid of $1.00. The model to be auctioned is a 4 door sedan, which is currently retailing at $106,888, including COE. For the auction, the base price of S$1.00 is inclusive of COE.

The auction will commence on 13 February 2012 at 08:00 and end at 23:59 on Friday 17 February, when the highest bidder will be offered the chance to purchase the Focus at his or her bidding price.

As the third-generation successor of a model synonymous with the name ‘Ford’ itself, the new Focus inherits an illustrious history from its predecessors that includes European Car of the Year and Car of the Year in Denmark, Scotland and Ireland in previous years, among many others. The new Focus boasts a dynamic sporty design, ergonomic interiors, a 1.6L Ti-VCT (Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing) engine and new 6-speed powershift transmission among the many thoughtful and stylish details.

Ford invites one and all to celebrate the newest addition to the Ford family by participating in this exciting auction and become among the first to own the latest Focus. In order to participate in the auction and stand a chance to emerge the highest bidder, members of the public simply need to access the Ford Focus Auction microsite at www.fordfocusauction.com.sg and register for an account at no cost. Citizens or Permanent Residents of Singapore aged 21 and above, who are residing in Singapore and possess a valid driving license are eligible to articipate.

Each NRIC number is qualified to open one account from which to submit bids for the Focus and
these bids can be revised at any time within the period of auction.
The starting bid is S$1.00 and each bid carries a minimum value of $100. At 23:59 on 17 February,
the auction will be halted and the highest bidder notified of his or her victory.
