Local news: Kia Sportage now comes with a 2.0L diesel engine
The popular five-seater compact SUV Kia Sportage is now available in a 2.0L diesel engine, in addition to the 2.0L petrol engine.
The more eco-conscious consumer can now opt for the 2.0L diesel engine for lower emissions (189g/km) and better fuel efficiency (7.2L/100km). The diesel engine pumps out a maximum torque of 392Nm at 1800 – 2500rpm and 0-100 kph can be achieved in 9.9 seconds.
Both the petrol and diesel variants feature a 6-speed automatic transmission, with the petrol variant being a 2WD and the diesel variant a 4WD
