Local News: Mandatory Give Way to Buses Scheme Extended
Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be extending the use of the mandatory give way to bus scheme making a total of 41 affected bus bays island wide.

From 25 December 2009, LTA will progressively add 15 bus bays along Pasir Ris Street 1, Canberra Road and Woodlands Avenue 5 to the 'Mandatory Give Way to Buses' Scheme. Motorists have to give way to buses when they see triangular give way markings on the road, next to the bus stops.
It will be a traffic offence if motorists do not give way to buses at such road markings.
