Mazda's President and CEO, James Muir, believes that it is possible for Mazda to move upmarket, so long as they do not lose their sporty (Zoom-Zoom) edge.

To do this, Mazda will have to increase the number of models in its range. With the focus on smaller, more fuel-economic vehicles, Mazda could produce a new city car with styling based on its Kiyora concept. A Mazda 1, perhaps?

Seen in these photos is Mazda's Kazamai concept car, which was showcased at the Moscow auto show. Should the Kazamai make it to production, Mazda will have a crossover vehicle.

Also on the cards is a radically redesigned MX-5 for 2012. And if rumours are to be believed, we might even see a new RX-7 that same year.
