Mazda RX-8 R3 hits the UK
More goodies for the facelifted RX-8. Pity it's only for the UK market...for now.
Mazda recently announced the facelifted RX-8 R3, which is distinguished by a Sports Styling Pack comprising of a sport front bumper, side skirts, rear wing and 19-inch alloy wheels. Other goodies include an uprated suspension system, lower gearing, enhanced aerodynamics and new Recaro sports seats.
At under £25,000, the 231ps twin-rotor engined RX-8 R3 hits 146mph with the ability to reach 62mph (100km/h) in 6.4 seconds. It will be available in UK dealerships from late August 2008.
