The British team plead guilty on all five counts of being in breach of the International Sporting Code.

The suspended race ban however, means that McLaren have managed to avoid an actual punishment.

McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton was earlier found guilty of deliberately misleading race stewards by failing to disclose that he had actually allowed Toyota driver Jarno Trulli to overtake him while under safety car conditions.

Since the incident in Melbourne, Hamilton has apologized and McLaren have released Team Manager Dave Ryan.
