Nearly all COE premiums rise

Only Category C (Goods vehicles + buses) sees a decline, all other categories see significant rise.

It has been widely predicted that COE premiums would rise after the revisions to the OPC scheme.

[B]Category A[/B] (for cars below 1,600cc), currently stands at $18,020, after gaining $3,001. It previously stood at $15,019.

The price of [B]Category B[/B] (for cars 1,600cc and above) increased to $19,289, an increase of $2,999 from $16,290.

COE for commercial vehicles, [B]Category C[/B], was down by $1,500 and ended at $16,001.

COE for motorcycles, [B]Category D[/B], gained $169 and is now valued at $1,051.

[B]Category E[/B] (open category) is currently at $19,830, up from $17,905.
