New Awards, and Showroom for Packard Bell
Packard Bell, one of the leading technology brands in Europe, took home seven prestigious Plus X awards at the gala ceremony held on 24 May 2007 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The award was given for special products in different categories. Packard Bell was rewarded for its achievements in GPS, personal storage and desktop PCs, and was voted the “most innovative brand” in the IT category.
Amongst may of heir IT innovations, of which include a watercooled PC, the Compasseo 830 GPS was recognized for “innovation” in the car entertainment category.
The coveted “most innovative brand” prize was given to Packard Bell in recognition of its extensive product excellence. The awards pay tribute to Packard Bell’s ongoing commitment to providing intelligently designed, easy to use products at an accessible price.
In conjunction with this, Packard Bell makes buying their arsenal more accessible with their new branch located at the "E-Life" branch, Suntec City, #02-010A.

About the Plus X[/B]
The Plus X Awards honors products that deliver technological excellence in four areas: innovation, design, ease-of-use and ecology. Competition this year among competing brands and products was fierce, with over 100 brands in the running.
The winners were selected by a jury of specialized journalists. The awards are distributed in the following categories: home entertainment and telecommunication, IT and household appliances, home technology, photo and car entertainment products, electrical tools and horticultural technology categories.
A “most innovative brand ” is voted in each category. Award winners are authorized to use the Plus-X award as a seal of quality on their packaging and communications. Packard Bell was represented at the ceremony by Eric Wijnen, Country Manager for Packard Bell Germany.
During his acceptance speech for “most innovative brand”, Wijnen said that the award was “an incentive to the entire Packard Bell team to remain committed to giving customers ever better products that meet their future needs.” The event was recorded for TV, and will be broadcast the Giga channel to an estimated 20 million viewers in Germany on 1 June 2007.
