New BYD ATTO 1 Targets Singapore’s Urban EV Crowd
It’s compact, but it gets five seats, 308 litres of boot space, ADAS and V2L functionality.
BYD has added another model to its Singapore EV line-up with the launch of the ATTO 1, a compact electric car designed primarily around city driving.
At 3,990 mm long and with a 9.9 m turning diameter, the ATTO 1 should be easy enough to manoeuvre through Singapore’s tighter streets and carparks. It still manages to house five seats and a 308-litre boot.
Underneath sits a 43.2 kWh Blade Battery paired with a 65 kW motor making 175 Nm. BYD quotes up to 322 km of WLTP range, while DC charging can go as high as 85 kW. V2L is included as well.
The safety package includes AEB, adaptive and intelligent cruise control, lane assistance, traffic-sign recognition and driver monitoring systems, alongside stability control, rear sensors and a reverse camera.
The cabin gets a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, 7-inch driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus OTA updates. NFC smartphone access, Bluetooth key functionality, automatic air-con, voice control and powered front seats round out the equipment list.
Singapore buyers can choose from four colours: Sprout Green, Arctic Blue, Cosmos Black and Ski White. The ATTO 1 is now available to view and test drive at BYD showrooms, with pricing starting from S$169,888 with COE.
