Nissan GT-R to be updated in 2009

While there's no shortage of praises for the GT-R, Nissan still isn't taking it easy.

For 2009, the GT-R will receive a 5hp increase in power. The Brembo brake calipers have been re-badged as Nissan, and the fuel tank capacity has gone up from 71 to 73.8 liters.

There's also a slight improvement in fuel economy, from 8.2 km to 8.5 km per liter.

2009 GT-Rs are already being called "Series II". And not surprisingly, all these changes amount to an extra 5% cost over the outgoing model.
