Alfa's stunning replacement to the 147 is based on the same platform as the Fiat Bravo and Lancia Delta. It is set to be the main rival to Ford's focus.
Rumors are that power is expected to come from a 1.4 litre petrol turbo and 1.9 litre diesel units which range in output from 120 hp-250 hp. The top end versions will get the Q2 diff which maximizes traction.
The 149 will be available in either 3 or 5-door trim and is expected to be released next year.
