SG: 16 arrested for drunk driving

16 motorists were arrested for drink driving in the wee hours of Wednesday (10th September) morning. Out of the 16, 14 were men, and the remaining 2 were women, and they were all aged 29 and 48. In total, 45 drivers were pulled over and tested for alcohol at various road blocks. The highest tested on the day was 80 micrograms (mcg) of alcohol per 100ml of breath, over twice the legal 35mcg limit. Those guilty of drink driving will be disqualified from driving for at least a year, and their licenses will be revoked.
