SG: Bad weather fells trees and damage property

Trees along Old Jurong and Bukit Batok roads have been uprooted as a result of strong winds,  heavy downpours and a hailshower. Some of the damaged trees have fallen on roads, with one causing a massive traffic jam after blocking off a slip road along Bukit Batok Road. Of course, the fallen trees not only blocked traffic, some of them damaged cars too. 3 cars, which included a Toyota Vios and a Toyota Camry, were parked at a building's open air carpark on Toh Guan Road East, and were crushed by the trees. The third car that was damaged was parked in a carpark on the Bukit Batok West Avenue 2 stretch.
