SG: Performance Motors to sponsor upcoming Airshow
For the fourth time running, BMW’s official Singapore Importer Performance Motors will be sponsoring the Singapore Airshow. This latest sponsorship will see up to 350 BMW vehicles being used to shuttle VIPs and guests from the 11th to the 16th of February. BMW models ranging from the smaller 3 series up to the flagship 7 series will be present. Being one of the world’s top three aviation events, the Singapore Airshow will serve as a global marketplace, allowing the world’s aviation community, both governments and enthusiasts alike, to network with one another. BMW Asia has introduced the new BMW X5 M50d which comes under the BMW M Performance Automobiles range. It's powered by the world's most powerful in-line six-cylinder 3.0 liter diesel engine that generates a maximum power output of 381hp and an impressive maximum torque of 740 Nm at 2,000 to 3,000 rpm.
With a maximum power output of 381 hp, a peak torque of 740 Nm between 2,000 to 3,000 rpm, and the ability to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.3 seconds (+0.1 second improvement, vs. its predecessor), the engine developed for the new BMW X5 M50d brings its level of performance to a stage that is unmatched by other diesel-powered car in its segment.
