SG: The Golf is 'The Straits Times Car of the Year 2013'

Volkswagen Group Singapore  announced that its new Category A model line-up will consist of 13 different models.  The Volkswagen line-up has been revised to offer customers an attractive range of models to choose from.

  Car buyers will have an extra reason to visit Volkswagen Centre Singapore from 16 November to 1 December 2013.  As part of a collaboration with LEGO Group, the showroom will be transformed into the Volkswagen-LEGO Christmas Toyland, with various activities to keep the entire family entertained. Showroom visitors can take photographs with LEGO minifigures and 3D models built with LEGO bricks, while the younger ones will enjoy the LEGO colouring activities.  Special LEGO premiums will be given out with every test drive during the promotion period. Customers who buy a new Volkswagen Jetta, Passat, Touran or Sharan will each receive a three-item LEGO gift pack worth over $150, containing an item exclusive to Volkswagen –the LEGO® DUPLO Train Activity Set.

Volkswagen is launching the new Touran in a truly unique fashion. Instead of the usual showroom display, the new Touran will be bringing breakfast for customers at the Volkswagen Centre from across the causeway.  You can expect authentic Ipoh hor fun, Malacca's chicken rice ball as well as KL's famous bak kut teh all laid out in the showroom when you visit.  And just to underline what an amazing feat it is to deliver the food from across the causeway that's still warm, here's the distance figures!
