Shell Launches New Diesel
After launching their Ultra-Low Sulphur Diesel in September last year, Shell wasted no time in looking for ways to improve their product, and have just launched a newly improved version after testing it over sixmonths and clocking 500,000 kilometres of driving.

According to Shell, the newly improved diesel fuel features anti-rust additives to prolong the lifespan of the stel components in the fuel trnasport system, and has been formulated with cleaning agents to prevent the buildup of deposits that can lead to a loss of engine power.
There is also an anti-foam component, which prevents the fuel from 'frothing up' when you pump it into the fuel tank. In regular diesel, foaming of the fuel usually occupies the top portion of the tank, restricting the user from filling the petrol tank up to the top. This is especially an issue with taxi and commercial vehicle drivers, who will benefit from from having to make less trips to the petrol station when they can fill a proper full tank with each trip.
Shell Fuels Scientist Karen Lee summed it up by explaining, "The new formulation enables the engine to work more eficiently, and its low foamimg properties means that customers can refuel more efficiently at the pump.
