Suzuki To Unveil iK-2 And iM-4 Concept Models At The 85th Geneva Motor Show

Suzuki announced some great news for buyers of the all new Vitara ALLGRIP DDiS model which is the cleanest non-hybrid 4x4 on the market. CO2 emissions are just 111g/km for the 1.6-litre DDiS SZ5 ALLGRIP model with an EC combined fuel consumption figure of 67.2mpg. It will go on sale worldwide from April. It’s not just in the 4x4 SUV segment that Suzuki excels either, as the recently launched Swift 4x4 Dualjet model also emits 111g/km and, in the Crossover segment, the S-Cross 1.6DDiS SZ-T is only slightly higher at 114g/km.

The new Suzuki Vitara compact SUV, has been rated as one of the safest cars according to independent crash testing results from Euro NCAP, receiving the maximum 5-star rating. Vitara is also the first compact SUV to earn five stars in the more rigorous 2015 Euro NCAP testing programme which further reinforces the exemplary level of safety of the new model. Suzuki’s new Vitara has been awarded high scores in all four areas of assessment and also exceeds the minimum level required in all of these to attain the five star rating. The all new Baleno, an ideal hatchback from compact car expert Suzuki is set to make its world premiere at the 66th Frankfurt Motor Show. The debut of the full production version follows on from the iK-2 Concept seen at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. The Baleno harmoniously combines stylish design, spacious interior and new technologies. These new technologies include the first application of the newly Suzuki developed 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET direct injection turbocharged petrol engine that saves fuel while delivering driving pleasure. Fuel efficiency has been improved by reducing engine displacement; output and torque are boosted by using a turbocharger.
