US: Bentley to deliver 99 GT3-Rs to North America

Bentley will make their North American reveal of their Continental GT3-R at Pebble Beach this year. As the most dynamic and fastest-accelerating Bentley ever produced,it will be equipped with a reworked 4.0 litre V8 inspired by their race winning GT3 racer. The V8 has 572 bhp, and is wrapped in a shell that is 100 kg lighter than a regular Continental. The shell is then dressed in two-tone green graphics and it received new front splitter. It is paired with a fixed rear wing attached to the bootlid. Each GT3-R will be hand-built in Crewe, England, before the finishing touches are made by Bentley's motorsport department. 99 of the 300 that will be produced will be set aside for the US, with 4 more bound for Canada. Expect each car to cost around $337,000 USD, with American deliveries to begin in the first quarter of 2015.
