Audi TT Roadster RS 2.5 FSI Quattro Review: Open Sesame

We know how good the Audi TT RS is in coupe form but is the topless Roadster equally as good?

What we like:
pros
The brilliant in-line 5 motor's charismatic noise is more audible than in the coupe.
What we dislike:
cons
Slightly softer and less hardcore character than the coupe.

Just like the other TT Roadster models, the topless TT RS feature full electric operation for its cloth hood. An added bonus is the mechanism's ability to operate on the move at speeds of up to 50km/h.

The interior is pretty much similar to the coupe's but while the latter has token rear seats for children or very short people, the Roadster is a strict two-seater.

The TT RS Roadster makes for a great topless sports car that is hugely likable in many areas but with most topless cars, there's a slight compromise in its handling when compared to the fixed roof coupe. Enthusiast drivers who enjoy the occasional track day or B-road blast should stick to the harder edged coupe.
