It all comes down to a price. The Zafira leaves the showroom for a hefty $89,888, which is quite a sum of money if you were to compare it to the Honda Stream and Toyota Wish. But what it offers is solid build quality, impressive handling characteristics and a large cabin, which justifies the premium price it has over the other two.

An MPV for executive sedan money will do just fine, but with the Stream in the frame and the Wish imminent, it will be a tough call for the Zafira to strike a chord with mid-sized MPV buyers.

But then again, with a Zafira, you won’t ever be mistaken for a cab...
