Order Books For All-Electric Opel Mokka-e Will Open On 2nd September

German-made cars are some of the more dynamic-looking automobiles in the motoring world. And Opel is no exception. In fact, in recent times, the giant automobile-maker gave birth to several models that have captured the attention of motoring enthusiasts. The Opel Astra K is a case in point. Bagging the Car of the Year Award in 2016, the five-door hatchback is impressively aggressive with sharper design lines. Appearance is not the only winning factor of the Astra K. With a “smaller on the outside, big on the inside” chassis design, environmental-friendly features such as lower CO2, emissions and better fuel economy due to a lighter body are great procurement influencers. The most notable model in the 2017 line-up is, perhaps the all-new Insignia Grand Sport, the flagship car of Opel. Debuted in 2008 at the British International Motor Show in London, the first-generation Insignia was a signature model. Having won the Car of the Year 2009 with more than 900,000 units sold worldwide, the Insignia and the subsequent models set the framework behind the success of the new Opel Insignia Grand Sport.       The new Opel Insignia Grand Sport houses a completely new vehicular architecture. Its wheelbase has been elongated by 92 millimetres, offering a much more spacious interior which passengers at the rear will adore. Being longer,  the new Opel Insignia Grand Sport is now more prominent with athletic proportions. Aesthetically longer and lower, the new Opel Insignia Grand Sport has the slim, lithe silhouette of a coupé and the bold road stance of upper class vehicles. With class-leading aerodynamics, every ride in the new Opel Insignia Grand Sport is a delightful one. Incorporating a slim, embracing dashboard and a lower seating position, the new Opel Insignia Grand Sport promises an engaging and direct driving experience. Just like the Opel Astra, weight is one of the hallmarks of the new Opel Insignia Grand Sport. Leveraging on optimized packaging and lightweight materials, the overall weight of the car is lighter by around 175 kilograms. This not only translates to better fuel economy, the new Opel Insignia Grand Sport is also more agile and zippy. New, high-tech features such as the all-wheel drive system with torque vectoring - the most sophisticated system offered in the segment - or the new eight-speed automatic transmission allow drivers to exploit their strengths to the fullest. Vauxhall’s all-new Astra will premiere at the 2015 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt on September 15th, 2015. Built at Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port plant in Cheshire, the new Astra is up to 200kg lighter than the outgoing model and thanks to its clever design it is smaller on the outside and bigger inside. The powertrain portfolio features petrol and diesel units ranging from 100PS to 200PS, including an all-new 1.4-litre (145PS) ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo, a 4-cylinder unit from the same family as the one-litre, three-cylinder engine seen in Corsa, ADAM and VIVA.

Compared with other members of the ADAM family, ROCKS is taller, wider and tougher in appearance, while also offering a full-length electric folding canvas roof.  Agile parkour athletes, who move from one place to another, negotiating urban obstacles in between, were the inspiration for this sporty crossover concept.  Parts of the chassis system have been modified or re-tuned – including dampers, springs, the rear suspension geometry, and steering. The higher, wider looks are matched by a choice of 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels. These can be further personalized with new wheel clips in “Wild” design and different colours that are unique to ROCKS.
