What we like:
Bigger engine that's a willing worker
spacious and quiet cabin
permanent four wheel-drive gives handling edge over pricier competitors.
What we dislike:
Exterior proportion that needs some getting used to
some fiddly controls
thick A-pillar hinders vision.
Priced at $128,800 including COE, the Superb is truly an enticing proposition not to be missed by those who wants a solid and classy Continental executive. Its combination of V6 powerplant, roomy cabin and a supple ride more than makes up for its deficit in brand desirability.
To all you brand snobs, you might want to replace the Skoda logos with the VW's...
