In all, our little experiment showed that the Touran is indeed capable in both areas albeit with compromises. However, we cannot deny the effort that Volkswagen has put in to develop a MPV that not only satisfy the transportation needs of the family but also more importantly, put a smile on the dad's face each time he needs to satisfy the speed demon within him.

This is truly a MPV that is both Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
