COE Premiums Decrease In All Categories In First Bidding Exercise Of The Year

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed lower in all 5 categories in the first bidding exercise 2023 (5 January).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$80,000, a decrease of S$8,007.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$102,002, a decrease of S$6,004 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$899 to S$77,301.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went down by S$800, to S$10,890.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$1,711, to S$107,889.
