F1: Sutil to drive for Sauber in 2014

Swiss team Sauber have confirmed that Adrian Sutil will replace fellow countryman Nico Hulkenburg from 2014. Sutil was given the boot from Force India after they decided to settle for a fresh 2014 lineup, with Di Resta being shown the door as well. Sutil looked forward to the Sauber move. He said that he always wanted to drive for the Sauber F1 team and will do his part to achieve success with the team. Sauber’s best results as an independent team came from their 2012 campaign, with 4 podiums and 126 points. So far, the seat of the 2nd driver remains open, although Sergey Sirotkin is piped to occupy that seat. However, due to the excellent performance, Esteban Gutiérrez could retain his race seat.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
