Local News: BMW Is Official Car For ScreenSingapore

The organisers for ScreenSingapore have announced a partnership
with Performance Motors Limited (PML) who will be sponsoring a fleet of BMW cars for use as the official transportation during the eight-day filmed entertainment event happening from 5 – 12 June 2011.

As part of the agreement, the BMW fleet comprising the BMW 3 Series and the flagship BMW 7 Series will be used to transport visiting international film industry representatives and celebrities to and from the various venues island-wide that will be hosting the daily Red Carpet Gala Premieres.

The high-profile personalities include Tom Hanks (Larry Crowne), Shekhar Kapur (Director of Elizabeth), Gordon Chan (Director of Mural), Mélanie Bernier (The Assault), May’n (Japanese singer), Bao Bei-Er (Mural), Nick Cheung (Treasure Inn), Yong Mun Chee (Director of Where the Road Meets the Sun), and Jason Spevack (Jesus Henry Christ), amongst others.

ScreenSingapore will debut as an international cinema event offering policy makers, industry buyers, sellers, producers and creative talent from all over the world a platform to exchange ideas, business opportunities and showcase their product.
