Local News: Updated Volkswagen Eos is here
Volkswagen today previewed the updated Eos to the media prior the coupe-convertible model going on sale this weekend.

The updated model can immediately be recognised by its new front end treatment, which brings its styling more in line with the rest of the Volkswagen range. The new nose includes new headlamps with LED daytime running lights as standard. Other exterior changes incluse new ally wheels as well as a revised rear with new tail lamps that mimic the recent new Passat.
Inside, the Eos' slightly revised interior include a new steering wheel, white backlighting for the instruments, new climate control switches, the familiar RNS510 sat nav touch screen headunit and so on.
the updated Eos doesn't have its tweaks limited to its exterior and interior though - the old model's EA113 200bhp lump has been replaced by the Golf GTI VI's EA888 210bhp TSI lump. The new motor is not only more powerful but is also more fuel efficient claims VW.
But the Eos' USP is still its ability to convert itself from a coupe to convertible and vice versa in a matter of seconds. The Eos is still the only CC model featuring a metal hardtop with an additional retractable glass roof that doubles up as a sunroof.
The updated Eos goes on sale this weekend at a price of $188,888 with COE.
