Phantom Regatta Is Rolls-Royce's Latest Bespoke Masterpiece

Rolls-Royce has unveiled Phantom Regatta, a one-off Phantom Extended inspired by the sailing heritage of England's south coast. The bespoke commission will make its public debut at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Drawing inspiration from the Solent, Chichester Harbour and the region's famous summer regattas, Phantom Regatta also pays tribute to the area closely linked to Rolls-Royce co-founder Sir Henry Royce.

The exterior is finished in a hand-painted Regatta Blue and English White two-tone scheme, reflecting the meeting point between a yacht's hull and the sea. It rides on 22-inch polished disc wheels inspired by the winches found on racing yachts.

Inside, Navy Blue leather in the front contrasts with Grace White upholstery in the rear, while turquoise RR monograms add a subtle nautical touch. The cabin's standout feature is its handcrafted Royal Walnut and Black Bolivar veneer picnic tables, which took around 120 hours to create and are designed to resemble a yacht's teak deck.

A unique hand-painted Gallery artwork, Watercolour, stretches across the dashboard, capturing the movement of the sea using techniques specially developed by Rolls-Royce's in-house artist.

Overhead, the Bespoke Starlight Headliner features 1,307 fibre-optic stars inspired by the tidal currents around the Isle of Wight. Even the air vents carry engraved coordinates referencing Goodwood House and the Home of Rolls-Royce, adding another discreet Bespoke detail.

Phantom Regatta is the latest example of Rolls-Royce's Bespoke craftsmanship, transforming Britain's rich sailing tradition into a truly one-of-one luxury motor car.
