Rolls-Royce Black Badge Cullinan Gets A Colourful Contemporary Art Twist
Collaborative project features hand-painted artworks by acclaimed modern artist Cyril Kongo.

Rolls-Royce has revealed a wild new version of Black Badge Cullinan, created together with famous French contemporary artist Cyril Kongo. Only five will ever be made, and each one mixes ultra-luxury SUV vibes with full-on street art energy.

Called the Black Badge Cullinan by Cyril Kongo, the project turns the already-bold Cullinan into something that feels closer to a moving art installation. Kongo’s signature graffiti-inspired style is everywhere - from colourful symbols and cosmic sketches to abstract patterns spread across the cabin.

Kongo personally hand-painted parts of the interior, including the dashboard, centre console, rear picnic tables and even the Starlight Headliner roof. Rolls-Royce reportedly prepared over 70 paint colours so he could create each car almost like a blank canvas.

From the outside, the SUVs still keep that dark Black Badge look with a deep Blue Crystal Over Black finish. But hidden details start popping up the closer you look.

What’s cool is how involved the artist actually was. Rolls-Royce brought Kongo directly into its Goodwood Bespoke workshop to collaborate with designers and craftspeople throughout the build process, instead of just slapping artwork onto a finished car.

Underneath all the art, it’s still the Black Badge Cullinan - the more rebellious, performance-focused version of the Cullinan SUV aimed at younger and bolder Rolls-Royce buyers. Only five examples are being built globally, and all of them are already spoken for.
